Los Angeles brand Schecter have been producing monster metal axes since 1976 and have been an integral part of the scene right from the get go. Their high output shred machines have appeared on stage with GWAR, Lordi, Disturbed, Hollywood Undead, Cradle of Filth, Blackveil Brides, Avenged Sevenfold, Motley Crue, Coal Chamber, Korn and about a million more belting metal acts! With that kind of pedigree you can expect a top class instrument at any price point and this gorgeous cherry red Diamond Series 006 Elite really doesn’t disappoint! Made in Korea to an exceptionally high standard, this incredible metal machine combines a mahogany body with a stunning flame maple top and a bolt-on maple neck, all finished in velvety red. A solid mahogany body is a great way to boost low end grunt and pairing it with a maple top and neck adds definition and snap to the top end. This is reinforced by the Duncan Designed high output humbuckers which have a crisp and defined tone with a savage attack, perfect for technical metal playing. If you’re into the likes of Pantera, Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet for my Valentine etc then you’ll love the sound of this squeel-tastic shred machine! We also love the neck profile which is just the right balance of slim-but-not-TOO-slim C. Perfect for low end riffs or shredding right up the fretboard! And with 24 frets, super jumbo frets (with next to no wear) and a deep cutaway you’ll be able to fly up and down the fretboard, tapping with ease and whipping audiences into a frenzy with your insane solo skills!
This awesome axxe is in very good condition apart from a few small dings to the sides of the body, one slightly larger (around 2mm) ding near the jack output and a small ding to the front of the body which can be seen in the closeup, left of the bridge. There is next to no fret wear and it’s also had a professional setup so the action is incredibly low. We will also include a fitted Gear 4 Music foam case which will protect your incredible electric guitar from damage between gigs or practice sessions. The case is immaculate apart from some very minor scuffs from light use.
This model is pretty rare to find nowadays and definitely not one to miss, so call in to Finale Guitar between 10-5 any day except Wednesday to check it out or check out now to arrange affordable, insured postage anywhere in the UK.
