This gorgeous Selmer style jazz manouche guitar was made in Korea to a very high spec in 2009 and imported by Cheltenham based music shop, Vintage Strings. It features a rosewood back and sides and spruce top which give a tight and punchy tone with great volume, full, warm mids and a surprising amount of sustain. These are paired with a mahogany neck and ebony fretboard with beautiful mother of pearl dot inlays. The body is simply decorated with an attractive 3 stripe wooden binding and rosette inlay. At the headstock you’ll find a 45mm bone nut and gorgeous sealed gold tuners. This guitar’s original tailpiece has been professionally replaced due to a snapped pin- the replacement is brand new and looks great with stylish brass hardware, chrome string pegs and an attractive ebony block decoration. This guitar is also fitted with an under saddle pickup which sounds superb when amplified and has its jack output hidden in the bottom strap pin.

This guitar has been professionally set up and is all ready to play! It is in great condition aside from one or two very small dings and some very light scratches to the body and binding (see photos for closeups). The tailpiece has been upgraded to a good quality, high density brass version which is designed for enhanced sustain and easy restringing. There is virtually no fretwear. This stunning jazz manouche guitar also comes with its original fitted hard case.
