Howard Low D Whistles (brass or steel, three finish options)

Howard whistles have been hand made in Sheffield since the 1970’s and are supplied to us directly by the maker. These beautifully finished low D whistles are made from either thin wall brass or stainless steel tubing with a “Balanced” resin head which offers a very full tone with minimal breath requirement. The head can be moved to tune the instrument, with a clear visual gauge marked onto the whistle’s barrel to make fine tuning easy. The stainless steel variant sounds a little brighter and the brass a little mellower and fuller. The brass version is also available in either a plain matte black finish or with a brass outline around the holes. Please select your preferred variant from the list below.
