EART (short for “Electro-acoustic ART”) have over 20 years of production experience on behalf of other companies but have recently been making waves with their own unqie electric guitar designs. This awesome headless rock/metal guitar makes shredding a breeze and feels great for long gigs thanks to its light weight and comfortable, centralised centre of gravity. Despite its compact look, it has a full 25.5″ (648mm) scale length and pairs a roasted padauk body (plus beautiful poplar burl top) with a 5-piece roasted maple and padauk neck. This multi ply neck design has been chosenfor long term strength and stability. Its Indian rosewood fretboard has a 9.5″-14″ compound radius and 24 medium jumbo stainless steel frets. The neck profile tapers from U to C as you move up the fretbaord, which keeps your hand position consistent as you transition from rhythm into solos. The nut is bone for added sustain. The truss rod adjuster is sensibly mounted at the bottom of the fretboard. You may be wondering how you tune this guitar given its complete lack of headstock- don’t panic! There’s a clever tuning mechanism built into the bridge which gives precise and reliable adjustment with great tuning stability.
This guitar has had several upgrades to its electronics. The stock humbuckers were a bit brittle sounding so have been replaced with Fleor AlNiCo humbuckers which give a slightly higher output take on classic PAF tone (full and warm with nicely crunchy mids when the drive goes up). The jack output has also been moved to the front of the body so you can practice with the guitar held in a traditional classical position when playing sat down- a very sensible innovation and one which makes this guitar feel great for gigging or rehearsal!
This guitar is in excellent condition with no notable cosmetic damage. It has been professionally set up and feel great to play.
