This PJ Action bass has been designed to make life easy for beginners. It combines a lightweight poplar body with a maple neck for a great, snappy tone and back-ache free practice sessions! The neck has a jatoba fretboard with a modern feeling 15.75″ radius and 22 comfortable medium jumbo frets. At the body you’ll find a Cort Powersound Precision style split coil pickup (which offers rich, full tones for funk or rock) and a brighter Jazz style bridge pickup which is great for cutting through in a band. The controls are nice and simple but offer a very wide range of tones thanks to the individual pickup volume (allowing you to blend both pickups to suit your taste) and master tone knobs. We also love the satin finished neck which is nice and slim to make life easy for newer players and feels lovely and smooth when sliding around the fretboard. The hardware is all quality too, with a very dense Cort EB6 (4) bridge offering great sustain and quality chrome geared tuners for precision and tuning stability. All in all this is an unbeatable beginner or improver bass guitar and could take a learner a very long way down to the world to bass super-stardom!
