Ashbury Rathlin Irish Bouzouki with deluxe padded gig bag

This outstanding Irish bouzouki offers incredible sustain and a very rich and full sound with full, punchy mids and sparkling treble which will cut through well when playing melody lines. A fairly new addition to Ashbury’s exceptional Rathlin line, this flat top bouzouki model is hand made in Vietnam with a solid spruce top and walnut back and sides. The body and neck are beautifully finished in a smooth satin lacquer which feels great under the hands and the body’s edges are rolled smooth for player comfort (no digging into your ribs!). This stunning instrument has a slim sapele neck with Senna Siamea fingerboard and bridge and a buffalo top nut and saddle which contribute to the outstanding sustain and prevent the strings from catching in the nut when tuning up.
The die-cast chrome machine heads are precise and reliable and have also been embossed with the Ashbury name which is a nice touch. This instrument comes fitted with 2 strap pins and has been professionally set up in store so will be all ready to take to your local session straight out of the box. Last but not least, we’ll also supply it with a free deluxe padded Viking gig bag (normally sold separately at around £40).
