Aiersi SU074P Koa Concert Ukulele with compensated bone nut and saddle and beautiful abalone inlays

We tried a whole range of smaller Chinese manufacturers and found Aiersi’s instruments to be consistently well built, good looking and very reasonably priced, so we’re very proud to continue to offer their beautifully made range of ukuleles!

The SU074P is a beautiful concert ukulele offering the classic tone of traditional koa, with very high build quality and reliable hardware at a very reasonable price. Koa (a member of the acacia family, native to Hawaii) is seen as the “traditional” ukulele tonewood thanks to its rich, resonant and warm tone and long sustain. The body is beautifully decorated with abalone and maple binding which really highlight the gorgeous grain of the wood. The koa body is paired with a mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard, with an attractive maple binding. The SU074P has been tastefully satin finished to allow the wood to resonate freely while also enhancing the grain of the koa and feeling silky smooth under the hands. All in all this is a classy and very eye-catching instrument!

When it comes to hardware, these sweet sounding concert ukuleles don’t disappoint either, with reliable and precise geared tuners and Aquila Nylgut strings. There are also some very neat design features which you wouldn’t normally expect to see on a ukulele of this price. We particularly love the bone nut and compensated bone saddle, which gives superb sustain and accurate intonation all the way up the fretboard! All in all the SU074P is an unbeatable koa ukulele for this price and would make a superb upgrade instrument or addition to your uke collection!
