There is no better time to start learning to play the guitar than between the ages of 5-8, and there are few guitars that are easier for beginners to learn on than these 1/2 size classicals from Encore! These miniature guitars have quality tuners and comfortable nylon strings, designed to be easy for little hands to hold down. They sound great, with accurate intonation across the fretboard and a very good tone for their small size! Please note that taller children or learners of 9+ years may be better suited to our 3/4 size starter pack, available here.

This beginner children’s guitar pack also includes a handy carry bag, a pitch pipe to help with tuning, a spare set of strings, plectrums and a strap which can be adjusted for comfortable playing while standing up. The strap also helps to hold the guitar upright when the learner is sitting down, making it easier for them to see what their left hand is doing without dropping the instrument!
