Bromo BAR6E Electro-Parlour

The BAR6E is an incredibly impressive parlour guitar from relative newcomers Bromo, a subsidiary of Stentor Musical Instruments. These Indonesian made guitars are built to an incredibly high standard with impeccably tasteful finishing and decorations and an outstanding tone! The BAR6E has a 632.4mm ( 24 29/32″ ) scale length and pairs an all solid Amara ebony back and sides and red cedar top for a rich and smooth tone with lovely warm mids. The tone is enhanced by Bromo’s incredibly clever “tone flow” bracing system. This cuts sections out of the internal bracing allowing the body to resonate more freely while still preserving structural integrity.

This guitar is beautifully decorated, with abalone inlays around the rosette and maple and abalone body binding, mother of pearl neck side dots and a truly stunning Mt Bromo mother of pearl headstock inlay. The BAR6E has a 44mm bone nut and a bone saddle for excellent sustain. This gives fairly wide string spacing which is great for finger picking and will feel very comfortable for players with larger fingers. The neck has a silky smooth satin finish and a fairly slim profile which gives it an intuitive and comfortable feel under the hands. The nut is set in sligtly from the edge of the fretboard to avoid damage and allow more room for the player’s hand to move comfortably without touching it. The hardware is of excellent quality and also nicely matched to the instrument’s aesthetic, with vintage antique brass tuners for precision, reliability and classy looks! We also love the attractive ebony bridge pins with abalone inlays.

For added volume and recording options, this incredible guitar is fitted with a Fishman under saddle pickup. The built in preamp has volume and tone controls hidden inside the soundhole so as not to spoil the vintage aesthetic. As if that weren’t enough, this perfect parloud even comes with Bromo deluxe padded bag. All in all this really is a superb sounding, looking and feeling parlour guitar at an unbelievably good price!
