ESP LTD B-205SM active 5 string bass (2012)

This monster 5 string bass from ESP LTD looks incredible and sounds it too, with a spalted maple top over lightweight ash body, all finished in a silky smooth satin. This is paired with a 5-piece maple and rosewood neck which has a very comfortable super slim profile which makes tackling all 5 strings easy. The six offset bolt neck joint is very well designed for long term stability and the joint is chamfered to allow easy upper fret access. The ultra low and rumbly B string combines with ESP-designed SB-5 pickups and an active 3-band EQ for a massive array of tonal options ideal for heavier genres. The active EQs allow you to boost as well as cut low, mid and high bands for a very wide array of tonal options and quick easy tweaking. All in all this bass is extremely versatile. It could be every rock / metal fan’s dream bass, but also offers a great range of full and funky clean tones when the drive is backed off.

This 5 string active bass guitar is almost in as-new condition aside from a mark on the back of the neck which is shown in the photographs. There are some very minor scratches to the back of the body, a few very small dings to the sides and some tiny marks on the headstock. It still has its plastic on the back plates and has been professionally set up in store so feels great to play.
