Luna’s Uke Bass Koa is a powerful sounding and very easy to play bass ukulele with 20.2″ scale length which means you won’t have to worry about the big stretches of a conventional bass guitar. Construction is very traditional, with an all koa back, sides and top plus set mahogany neck for great sustain. The fingerboard is a lovely smooth-feeling walnut and the hardware is well-specced, with sturdy die-cast open gear tuners. Acoustically this instrument is surprisingly loud and has a great, double bass-esque “thunk” to the tone! You can also plug in and amplify your performance with the awesome Fishman Clasica II active preamp system which gives a lovely full sound through a bass amp or PA system and also has a built-in tuner. This gorgeous uke is finished in a smooth satin lacquer which feels great under the hands and allows the wood to resonate naturally. It’s strung with Aquila Thundergut strings for a double bass style tone and very comfortable playing feel.
