Proper cover coming soon!
I have just finished writing, learning and videoing my brand new arrangement of Tell Her I Am! I must say I’m really very pleased with it. I’ve always loved the Martin Hayes version and have tried to get something of the wistful quality of his playing into my version. I’ve also been pretty heavily influenced by Dennis Cahill’s accompaniment, although mine is substantially different.
This classic Irish jig is featured in my latest book, Irish Tunes for Fingerstyle Guitar which is now out! The book contains ten classic Irish folk tunes arranged for fingerstyle guitar and comes with a complete guide to all the shapes used, fingering and music theory along with a short section covering each tune’s origins. You can buy it now in both e-book or paperback formats by clicking here.

I’ll be releasing this as part of my new book, Irish Tunes for Fingerstyle Guitar, which should be coming out around the beginning of March. It’ll come with a complete guide to all the shapes used to make it easier to learn. If you would like to give it a try though then you can find a MIDI file and free guitar tabs on the downloads page here.
My studio, web hosting, wifi connection etc are all expensive, so if you enjoy my arrangement then please consider making a small donation (through PayPal) to help me to continue to make free stuff.
Please subscribe to my mailing list (on the popup) to be notified when my new book of folk tabs is available!
