A short review from Rob…
Trace Elliot are a UK music manufacturer started in the late 70s, early adopters were John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin, Andy Rourke of The Smiths, and Mark King of Level 42.
This high-quality, made in England bass combo amplifier was manufactured before Gibson took over and moved manufacturing to Asia, and the sound and amount of air this tiny amp moves is great. It has a FET input stage, 3-band EQ, mid-shift switch, master volume, headphone/line out. It gives out 30W of bass power running through 10″ Celestion speaker at 8ohms for a tone with plenty of punch!
Someone famously referred to this small bass combo amp as “75 pounds of sound in a 35 pound package” and it’s true! The exterior cosmetics of this used amplifier are also in very good condition with only very minor handling marks.
