The TC Electronic Rottweiler distortion pedal features four controls: Gain, Level, Bass, and Treble. The Gain knob lets you adjust the amount of distortion, from a mild crunch to a full-on roar. The Level knob controls the output volume of the pedal, allowing you to match it with your amp or boost your signal when it’s activated. The Bass and Treble knobs are active EQ controls that let you shape the low and high frequencies of your tone, from dark and heavy to bright and cutting. The pedal also has a Voice switch that lets you choose between two different midrange voicings: Normal and Mid Scoop. The Normal mode gives you a balanced and punchy tone, while the Mid Scoop mode is perfect for modern metal riffs.
