They are made from sustainably sourced pine so have a loud, bright tone. For beginners, the soprano ukulele is also a perfect gateway to taking up other stringed instruments later on. For kids the chord shapes they learn on the soprano ukulele are also transferable to guitar if they want to move on further down the line.

This model also come with a free case, to protect it from bumps and scrapes! The case also has two shoulder straps to make it comfortable to carry.
Please note that I sell both left and right handed variants of all my ukulele models (please select your preferred option below). Octopus do not actually make left handed models- I am a qualified guitar and ukulele technician and modify them manually myself. On the left handed models the strings are flipped the other way up, so that left handed players can read chord diagrams with the same orientation as right handed ones. The modification takes me a while, hence why the left handed models are slightly dearer.
