Nuova Vita Night Sky S*rat

Our pal Nick at Nuova Vita Guitar Works produces all sorts of fascinating one-off heavy relic custom electric guitar builds, but this one is a more experimental model, entitled the “Night Sky S*rat” (apologies, the F company that rhymes with Blender says we aren’t allowed to use the S word that rhymes with cat any more!). This utterly unique electric guitar is made from a vintage Kay guitar with a maple neck and slim, vintage style frets. The body has been given a custom “cosmos burst” nitro finish which looks gorgeous and really shines under stage lighting. There’s also a high quality hardware selection, with Wilkinson easy lock tuners and a Yamaha style modern roller bridge (decked) for excellent intonation and tuning stability. Tonally this guitar is snappy and direct with clear fundamentals and a pleasantly chimey sound from its alnico V pickups which jump out at the ears and also the eyes thanks to their cool pink colour! It also feels great to play with a comfortable action and a custom reliced slim C neck.
