Hotone Ampero (two in stock- one boxed, one with footswitch)

The Hotone Ampero is a compact and ludicrously powerful multi-effects processor that offers a huge range of amp models and effects in a compact package with simple, intuitive controls. It is suitable for electric guitar, bass, and acoustic instruments. The Ampero features a dual-DSP platform that runs Hotone’s proprietary CDCM HD (Comprehensive Dynamic Circuit Modeling High Definition) and F.I.R.E. (Field Impulse Response Enhancement) system. This sounds fancy but essentially means that this pedal delivers incredibly realistic and expressive amp tones and effects and can make your “Squier Strat in the living room” sound like everything from “’59 Les Paul through a Marshall Stack at Wembley Arena” to “robotic kazoo played in a yellow submarine” . The Ampero also supports third-party impulse responses (IRs) via the Hotone Editor software, allowing you to customize your own speaker cabinet simulations or download sounds made by other players.

The Ampero has a 4-inch touchscreen display that makes it easy to navigate and edit its parameters. You can choose from 64 (yes, 64!) amp models, 60 cab models, over 100 pedal models, and 198 presets, covering pretty much any musical genre. You can also create your own presets and store them in the device or on a micro SD card. The Ampero has a built-in drum machine with 100 patterns and a looper with up to 100 seconds of mono or 50 seconds of stereo recording time. You can also use the Ampero as a USB audio interface for recording or playback on your computer. Basically it does EVERYTHING, and does it all incredibly well!

The Ampero has multiple inputs and outputs for different applications. You can connect your instrument to the input jack, which has a mode selector for electric, acoustic, or line level signals (suitable for keyboards, mixer outputs etc). You can also connect an auxiliary device to the aux-in jack for playing along with your favorite songs. The Ampero has stereo line outputs and XLR outputs for connecting to an amplifier, mixer, or PA system. You can also use headphones for silent practice or monitoring. The Ampero has an expression pedal input for controlling volume, wah, or other parameters. It also also has a MIDI in port for receiving MIDI messages from external devices.

We currently have two Hotone Amperos in stock. Both are in excellent condition and full working order, but one comes boxed and the other is unboxed but includes a Hotone footswitch, normally sold separately. This is a dual footswitch that connects to the Ampero via a TRS cable (included). The Ampero allows you to assign any function to the two switches, such as changing preset banks, selecting patches, activating effects, tapping tempo, engaging the tuner or looper, controlling the drum machine, and more.
