The body is made from silver leaf maple and poplar with a premium grade flamed maple veneer top which looks absolutely incredible! The tone is light and airy with plenty of snap and there’s a great range of tones thanks to the HSH pickup and well specced electronic setup. This is composed of Godin’s GHN1 (a powerful neck humbucker), GHS1 (a full toned single coil) and GHB1 (bright and punchy bridge humbucker) pickups with a five way selector switch. Godin have always been well ahead of their competitors in terms of attention to detail in even their more affordable guitars and this awesome electric is no exception. The neck is a modern feeling slim C in maple with a maple fingerboard and a delightfully smooth satin finish. The body has a very well designed comfort chamfer to the rear which makes it possible to solo at the higher frets while still looking at the fretboard. The Godin branded chrome tuners have very tasteful frosted chrome tuning heads for added friction and the saddle blocks are frosted to match. Most of all though we just love the feel of this guitar. It’s incredibly comfortable and easy to play with a very low action and just the right amount of resonance and feedback for the player!
