Robert Dietrich’s unique Firebird body shape looks exquisite in this limited edition colour scheme, with a lovely tactile wood grain showing under the Pelham Blue finish.

This genuine USA-made Gibson has an eye-catching reverse-styled body that is lightweight and resonant like an SG but with something to rest your arm on, which aids control of your playing. The wood is of course Mahogany with high output 496T and 496R humbuckers for a tight, punchy tone with a bit of twang.

Come and feel the comfortable Slim-Taper mahogany neck for hours of playing on a rosewood fretboard with TekToid nut for increased upper harmonics. The tuners are the ever-reliable classic Grovers.

Paul McCartney used his Firebird for the Maybe I’m Amazed solo, Johnny Winter rarely played anything else, the Freebird solos are played on a Firebird, Roxy Music’s Phil Manzanera sprayed the Roxy Music canvas with shards of rainbow brilliance from his Firebird, Clapton, Moore, Grohl, and Haynes too.

Although second hand this guitar is in very good condition, with no dings or scratches, no noticeable fret-wear. Comes with Gibson soft case and original case candy – cloth, manual, warranty, inspection card and adjustment tools. The serial number is 170041686.
