Epiphone’s higher tier SG is given a cool matte black refinish, and enhancements for high gain playing.

This very affordable guitar is the real deal, with a Mahogany body and set neck, 22 jumbo frets and a rosewood fretboard. The neck has a very comfortable C profile neck and a professional setup for a low action. The dual Alnico V humbucking pickups are superb and feature proper enameled wire that has been double vacuum waxed to stop unwanted squealing at high volume and gain. The pickups are loud with an awesome classic rock/metal tone. The Grover tuners on the headstock are always a sign of a quality guitar.

This guitar is in very good condition, showing a ding-free front, and a few back scratches. There are plenty of strumming marks on the pickguard, but that’s what it’s there for. There is just a little fret wear.
