These unashamedly-made-in-China bass amps are a great starting point for beginner bassists. They have simple controls, with a volume knob, three band EQ and presence control which adds extra high end snap if needed (perfect for funk or slap players). They also have a headphone output so you can practice without bothering the neighbours! They are powered by a single 8” speaker which is optimised to faithfully reproduce low frequencies, but can struggle a little at higher volumes due to its small size. If you’re looking to blast low notes with the volume turned up to 11 then you may find that the small speaker sounds rather fuzzy. However, as a super-bargain practice amp these do the job nicely!
