Cort’s CR200 takes the iconic Les Paul body shape and combines it with some more modern features for comfort and playability. This beautiful electric guitar features a solid mahogany body with a carved flame maple top, giving it a rich and resonant sound with plenty of sustain. The set-neck construction enhances the transfer of vibrations between the neck and body, while the cream binding adds a touch of elegance. We love the beautiful sunburst finish which screams classic rock class! The neck has a traditional C profile (the goldilocks of guitar necks- not too thick and not too thin!) and jatoba fretboard for a smooth and comfortable feel. There is also easy access to all 22 frets thanks to the single-cutaway design and ingeniously chamfered neck joint- a distinct improvement on the traditional design! The traditional Les Paul design has also been dramatically improved by the addition of “weight relief” (essentially more hollow space in the body) which adds resonance to the body and prevents back aches!

The heart of the CR250 is the pair of Voiced Tone VTH-59 pickups, which are specially designed to capture the essence of classic rock. These pickups are based on the classic PAF design and use selected Alnico II magnets and custom gauge coils to produce a fruity and well balanced tone with medium output and smooth, creamy mids. Each pickup has its own volume and tone control, while the three-way switch lets you select between the neck, bridge, or both pickups. The vintage-style tuners and tune-o-matic bridge with stop-bar tailpiece provide stable tuning and precise intonation. We have also set this exquisite electric guitar up in-house so you can be sure that it will feel and sound great with a nice, low action and accurate intonation across the fretboard.
