As with other step-up instruments from the Octopus range, the hardware consists of a classical guitar style bridge and enclosed chrome geared machine heads, which give super accurate pitch calibration and hold their tune reliably. The distinctive OctoWave headstock shape lets you know from a mile away that this is a genuine Octopus instrument! Octopus ukuleles use Aquila Supernylgut strings, the benchmark in quality throughout the ukulele world. These are really superbly put together instruments with a quality single coil pickup inside the soundhole for a balanced acoustic sound when amplified. They also have a quality pre amp with tone and volume controls, which is housed in an attractive laser cut wooden case. In short these are a really great way to take your ukulele playing electric!
