Barnes and Mullins BMUK5T gloss finish walnut tenor ukulele

These superbly built ukuleles from Barnes and Mullins are made with a beautifully figured walnut top, back and sides. Walnut is a dense tone wood and delivers a warm, mellow, full bodied tone with plenty of low end. Their large bodies give great bass too and plenty of volume and projection. The okoume neck is very nicely appointed with a Nubone nut which gives superb tone transfer. Nubone has also been used for the saddle, which combines with Aquila Nylgut strings for a bright snap when strumming and lots of sustain. The whole package is beautifully set off in a thick gloss finish with mother of pearl binding and rosette decoration. There are dual strap pins ready fitted, so you can add a standard guitar strap (click here to see the options we have available) to make your instrument easier to hold and play standing up. There’s also a beautifully inlaid beveled arm rest, designed for total comfort when strumming, with no negative impact on the sound!
