This style has been the most popular model of electric guitar since its inception in 1954 and spawned a huge number of imitators. This black clone from Ashton is a nicely built beginner guitar and offers huge tonal versatility. It’s got a single humbucker pickup (that’s the big one near the bottom) in the bridge position which gives full, modern rock and metal tones. The other two single coil pickups combine with a five way selector switch to offer a wide variety of tones, for everything from funk to classic rock to reggae!

This guitar looks great, with a funky brushed metal pickguard and quality chrome hardware. It’s in good condition apart from a few scratches to the body and some small spots of white paint on the top of the headstock. Our in-house guitar tech Steve has set it up so that it plays in tune all across the fretboard and the strings are very easy to hold down for new players.
