Adam Black guitars are well known for producing great quality beginner and intermediate acoustic instruments at incredibly good prices. This 0-5CE is not only very nicely built and finished but also combines a quality spec with incredible finishing and lots of features designed to make life easier for new players. It’s built using a mahogany back and sides and a solid spruce top, which combine to give it a pleasantly mellow tone with great clarity and string separation. A solid top is quite a high-end feature and very unusual to find on a guitar at this price point, so top marks to Adam Black there! They’ve also picked quality hardware and electronics including a set of Grovers which are about the best acoustic guitar tuners on the market and usually cost about £60 on their own. The under-saddle pickup allows you to amplify your guitar with a very faithful recreation of its acoustic tone and also has a built in pre-amp with three band EQ and presence control for easy tone shaping. Either plugged in or acoustic this guitar sounds great!

Aesthetically this is a lovely looking instrument, with an attractive satin finish (which feels very nice under the fingers), comfortable orchestra body shape and nicely curved cutaway for easy access to the higher frets. It’s in superb condition with no visible cosmetic damage anywhere and no fretwear. All in all if you want a gig-ready electro-acoustic guitar for an astonishingly good price then you won’t find many better options than this beauty!
