Adam Black guitars are based in Essex and have picked up a reputation for their excellent build quality and tone at affordable prices. This 0-5 is no exception and pairs a solid spruce top (with beautiful abalone rosette decoration) with laminated mahogany back and sides and hand scalloped bracing for enhanced resonance. The Grover tuners are quality and hold their pitch very reliably. It’s also got a pleasantly resonant, mellow tone in spite of its comfortably slim body. This is enhanced by the flat wound strings which were added by the previous owner- we rather like the mellow sound these give and they feel so good under the fingers that we have left them on. The playing action is also nice and low, which all adds up to a very comfortable playing feel.

Cosmetically this acoustic guitar is in excellent condition with very little fret wear and next to no visible damage apart from a very small ding to the rear of the headstock and a few light scratches to the back of the body. It also comes with a foam shell hard case which is very portable but will provide outstanding protection from bumps and scrapes when transporting your guitar.
